After graduating from West Virginia University in 1999, Matt worked for several small businesses observing successful and unsuccessful owners. The internet, proving to be fertile ground for aspiring entrepreneurs in the early '00s, captured Matt's imagination. What started with a few friendly web projects grew exponentially year over year. By November 2007 Matt was ready to leave full time work and focus solely on bitflip. Fellow entrepreneurs at 1235 W. Morehead St. welcomed bitflip and business exploded. After nearly two years of outsourcing to meet demand, Matt finally hired his first full time developer, Josh Klein, in July 2009. The bitflip story is still in early chapters. As the story develops, anticipation and excitement energize Matt and his fellow bitflippers . When he is not "working" (which is rare) Matt enjoys relaxing, watching anything football related, and spending time with family.
Graduate from the Art Institute of Charlotte with a degree in Interactive Media Design. Josh shows a profound passion for web development. Josh started in the industry as a freelance web developer and later joined the BitFlip team helping to implement the highest coding standards as well as creating outstanding web applications. Josh's skills are in PHP, MySql, AJAX, Smarty, and jQuery. When not spit'n code, Josh can be found in MMO's such as Aion.
Graduate from the Art Institute of Charlotte with a BA in Web Design and Interactive Media. Terry implements the highest standard in user interaction and usability into all of his design work. Aside from doing design work, Terry also focuses his attention to building site mockups using XHTML, CSS and PHP. Terry can be found buried into various design and user interaction books as well as following multiple blogs to keep up on the latest trends and technologies in the field. When not pushing pixels, Terry can be found enjoying the outdoors and watching various indie flicks.
A Senior Computer Science/Computer Engineering student at UNCC, Heath brings a strong background programming and systems management. His long term goal is to work with AI development and game design. Currently he takes care of all content management systems and website updates. Heath is regularly found working with XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JAVA. When not working on the web, Heath is an avid online roleplayer, 3D environment creator, and active outdoorsman.
